My Story

I am taking on 300 miles in the Scotty's Little Soldiers challenge: Tour De Scotty. 

This is quite a challenge for little old me! I work full time as a mortgage broker with a specilisation in helping armed forces, a mum of contstantly hungry boys, chief walker of a labradoodle called Lucky. And have an amazingly supportive husband who is pushing me along.

I will have the whole month of July to get my target miles in whilst raising funds to ensure specialised bereavement support is in place for our bereaved military children and young people.

I support Scottys as they support our wider military family. They support my friend and her children who sadly lost their dad. 

I have supported Scottys for many years and will continue to do so.

I am in awe at their incredible work to help our children smile again and give them opportunities to have fun and remember. 

Whilst at times this challenge has so far been tough, I have had the children that have lost their parent in my mind and can hear everyone cheering for me. It is also very good exercise and helping my mind too.
